Joe is a graduate of the University of Utah where he earned a MS degree in Business Management with emphasis on Public Administration; an undergraduate degree from Florida State in Business with dual majors in Industrial (BSIM) and Personnel Management. His career has exposed him to many business management styles and has focused on improving strategies to achieve productive results. In addition, Joe has experience in running a technology business he founded. For 10 years, his wireless company provided Wi-Fi to corporate clients throughout the US.
His experience, while serving in the Mayor’s office in Jacksonville, Florida, he was responsible for analyzing and recommending operational improvements in city federal programs. Joe wrote, applied for AND SECURED federal grants to create programs to provide employment opportunities for Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach and Atlantic Beach.
He has an innate understanding of systems processes and people that uniquely qualify him, from an operational perspective, to provide Pinellas County residents with seamless services at the Tax Collector’s offices.
